The Harrison County Community Foundation recently awarded the program a $20,000 grant to protect one farm in 2013. Thanks to the Foundations generosity the Land Conservation Committee is actively working to protect the Donna Hussung Farm located at 6704 Hwy 62 NE near Lanesville. We also have a second Farm ready to be protected once funding is obtained and it is hoped that a future grant will be secured in the near future.
